BeginningReading.com is a phonics based beginning reading program.  This program includes hundreds of printable Free Worksheets.  The key component of the program is the decodable beginning reading books.  These are available as a bound set  Book Sets or a set of reproducible  Blackline Masters. The Zac & Deb  books are a vital part of the BeginningReading.com reading program.  These books have been successfully used to help teach young kids how to read.  I created the books after teaching kindergarten for several years and finding a shortage of good phonics based materials for kids who are ready for their very first experience in reading.  

The set of bound books consists of 12 different books. Each brightly illustrated book consists of 10 pages and measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".  A word list is included at the beginning of each  book and there are six comprehension questions at the end of each book. Zac & Deb Preview.

The set of Blackline Masters consists of 36 reproducible pages (3 back-to-back  pages for each of the twelve books in the set).  Purchasing the masters is an excellent option for teachers who want to provide copies of all twelve of the books for each of their students.
